There are some difficult to beat episodes during the game. Sometimes too twisted corridors confuse you and too scary enemies catch you. That’s OK. But if you want to decrease frustration during certain episodes just check our guides. In this one, we want to help you with a security card from the 1st chapter called Administrative Block. It is located in the closed security room with a corpse of an officer. However, it’s not so easy to enter it.

Let’s reveal how to grab a security card without problems!

Easy way to get a security card

While you are near the beginning of the game it remains simple and understandable. You don’t have to run around enemies or invent special tricks to survive. You just should move through linear locations, hide sometimes, loot documents and batteries. Don’t forget to record consequences of the incident with your camera to get special notes. But an episode with security card is not as obvious as you want.

Well, it starts when Chris Walker – that big bloody monster with an awful smile – throws you from the balcony. Watch this cutscene and then explore the atrium. There will be Father Martin, your new psychopathic guide. The next goal is to find a security card to unlock main gates and leave this crazy place. Remember our algorithm if you want to find a security card for sure. For this moment almost all patients are neutral to you, it’s important.

Once you return controls of the protagonist turn leftwards and move there. Explore the lab, return to this left hallway and move forward. You will reach a corridor with a man in a wheelchair, he is harmless. Pass him and enter the rightmost room at the end of this corridor. There are several inmates watching the broken TV. They are harmless as well only if you are not going to jump on them or so on. Anyway, pass these folks to reach the farthest corner.

There is the blocked with planks door, but you can crawl under it. Enter the room A114 in this manner and spot a dead man near his computer. A security card is right here! Grab it and simply return to the atrium. But be careful! One of those neutral folks near the TV is hostile now – you shouldn’t even approach to them. Sneak in the shadows and quickly leave this room. A man in a wheelchair is still neutral as well.

If you want another hint – proceed from the atrium to the security room. It’s located to the right of elevators. Spot a violent psycho, wait till he leaves and proceed to the security room at the end of this corridor. Use your card to unlock main doors… And be ready to hide!
