Game Modes

The game includes these modes:

  • Deathmatch: Score points by hitting other players.
  • Score Batte: Reach a target score by hitting special trick shots like mid-air kills or long distance shots.
  • Elimination: Classic dodgeball mode where players do not respawn unless a teammate catches a ball.
  • Hoops: Players throw dodgeballs through the enemy's hoop to score points for their own team.
  • Super Ball: Players grab and maintain possession of a glowing golden ball to earn points for their team.
  • Demolition Derby: Race around the arenas to hit checkpoints and earn points. The current leader earns double points for their team.
  • Training: Practice skill shots against dummy bots.

Controls

The game is controlled via standard WASD movement keys. The robot characters are on unicycle wheels that give them fast forward movement and momentum. Players can also launch themselves off of each arena's ramps and jumps. Players can hold and release spacebar to jump, press E to brake quickly, and hit left Shift to sprint.

Players collect dodgeballs by running into them, and can catch enemy dodgeballs by left-clicking on them at the right time. Once a player has a dodgeball, they can begin charging their shot by holding down left-click and can fire by releasing that button. A longer charge will result in a stronger shot. While charging, players movement speed is decreased.

A power-slide is being added that allows players to drift around corners and recharge their boost meter faster. Power-sliding also can overcharge the boost meter to 125%. If the player releases the slide button when their boost meter is fully overcharged, they will get a slight temporary speed boost.

Players can also rocket-jump by fully charging their jump, fully charging a throw, sprinting forwards, looking down, jumping and then throwing the ball a split second later.
