Overview

When it rains it pours.

Need for Speed: Rivals is an open-world racing game developed by and . Released on November 19, 2013, Need for Speed: Rivals is the franchise's debut on the next generation consoles, and . It is powered by and features a dynamic weather system to make the world feel alive.

Gameplay

The game plays similarly to 2010's by featuring cops versus racers. The open world aspect of the game allows for speed traps as well as several jump points in the world map. Players unlock cars and customize them in which ever way they choose.

AllDrive

Red View County Police don't mess around.

With Need for Speed's AllDrive, multiplayer lobbies are no more. Single player and multiplayer are no longer separate game modes. Individual players and their friends always share the same game, same chases and same races. AllDrive can be turned off, if the player prefers to be presented with AI and race alone.

Cops Vs. Racers

A returning game mode that pits players against each other. One team plays as cops, the other as racers. In this mode a team of cops must bust the racers using car weapons and vice versa.
