Pro Wrestling X is a PC game that aims to revive the style of wrestling gameplay found in the beloved -developed games, such as .

Kickstarter Campaign

On 8th November 2012 the developers launched a campaign with the aim to raise $75,000 to help fund the completion of the game. Because the game was well into development, the money would be used mainly to improve the art and animations.

The campaign failed to reach its target, only reaching $21,207 by its 7th December deadline. The developer has since released the first version of the game, Uprising, in hopes that money raised from selling the game with future updates will fund the rest of the project.

Second Kickstarter Campaign

In November 2013, it was announced in the Wrestling Gamers United Newsletter that a second Kickstarter would be attempted for Pro Wrestling X. This new campaign's funding goal would be more modest, due to the revenue generated by Uprising. No date has been given for the launch of this second attempt.

On the 17th February 2014, Uprising was pulled from the developer's website in preparation for the new Kickstarter campaign. Uprising will no longer be supported and all work will now focus on the new version of Pro Wrestling X.
