Overview

Billing itself as an engineering tool, rather than a game, X-Plane 10 is a different approach to civil flight simulation than something like Microsoft Flight Simulator X. The simulation feature over 33,000 worldwide airports, as well as aircraft carriers, oil rigs, frigates and rooftop helicopter landing pads. It features a wide variety of aircraft and also allows those using the simulator to create their own aircraft which can be realistically modelled so it will fly and respond to weather conditions like a normal plane.
