Gameplay

The Race for the White House places the player in the role of a candidate running in the presidential election.

Campaigning

Creating a candidate

Players visit each state in the U.S., campaigning and building up their political agenda. Depending on the promises candidates make it will alter the favor of the people in one way or the other.

While the player is traveling from state to state their opponent is doing the same. The opponent can either be controlled by an A.I. player or another human player over the internet.

And the end of each turn, or day the projected votes are calculated to show the current potential winner.

Other Tasks

Holding a televised debate

There are other tasks that can be completed which can alter players favor such as:

Building a headquarters
Winning over the favor of influential billionaires
Holding rallies
Using dirty tricks to try and alter the favor of opponents
Taking part in televised debates
Marketing campaigns

Winning the Game

The player at the end of the election day with the most electoral votes will be declared the winner and will become the new President of the United States of America.
