Overview

Zezenia Online is an indie online roleplaying game, first released in 2008. The game is centered around developing your own character, by training skills, assigning talent points and gaining levels via hunting or tasks and quests. The game is free-to-play, with the option to purchase premium cards either with real money or ingame to access exclusive content. The game is still fairly small for a MMORPG, but is constantly growing and being developed.

Gameplay

Like most other fantasy MMORPGs, the game features a sandbox-style open world where you are free to choose how to progress your character. The main focus is on leveling up your character via hunting and quest or task completion. Combat against monsters happens using melee weaponry such as swords and axes, ranged weaponry such as bows and magic wands as well as magic spells. The gameplay is endless in terms of no existing level or skill caps.

There are 3 main classes: Warrior, most prominent in melee battle but weak in magic abilities, Ranger, skilled in ranged battle with bows, crossbows, javelins and the like, decent at best with magic abilities and Mages, weak in melee battle but very skilled using magic spells. There are also subclasses for each class that are attainable via quests once you have reached level 30, giving access to an extended list of spells.

More minor features, such as guilds, battle arenas and the warzone island, an ingame marketplace and player-owned housing are also present in the game.

Premium Cards

The game implements premium features via the so-called "Premium Cards". Each card can be used ingame to attain 24 hours of premium time, or used independently to pay for features such as tasks, special items or to change the name of your character. Premium Cards are also available for purchase ingame for gold, the main ingame currency.

Accounts with active premium time, either via the use of premium cards or subscription via the website, are given access to exclusive sand and snow continents. These continents contain further ingame content in the form of unique monsters, items and quests.
