Heavily influenced from various Roguelikes, Rogue's Tale has the player controlling their character through dungeons fighting monsters and collecting loot. One change that sets it apart, however, is the fact that the player does not choose a class at the outset. Rather, they choose the upgrades they want (known in this game as talents) by training at various training posts in-game.
