Overview

A , , action RPG originally released for the and computers in 1991. It was later ported to the console in 1994, a localized version of which was released in in February 1995. A version was also released for the console. Nihon Falcom, the developers of and , also created the series.

The original computer versions use a mouse-controlled interface, much like later action RPGs such as the series.

In 2009, a heavily revamped version of Brandish was released for the PSP in Japan known as . It also became available outside the Japan as a downloadable title in 2014.
