Overview

With development beginning as early as 1988, Vacation Gone Awry was originally called "Stranded" and was slated for release on the . It went through several iterations on various platforms (including the and ), but was finally released in 2006 for Windows PCs.

The game is a text-based adventure about a man on vacation in the Black Forest of with his family. Waking up one morning to find his wife and daughter gone, the man must discover what happened to them.
