Red Faction: Armageddon is a shooter game that is played from a third-person perspective. Most of the game is set in the underground tunnels full of alien creatures. The game is known for its interaction with landscape. Just like in previous Red Faction games “GeoMod” is used to destroy various landscape, but with Red Faction: Armageddon there is new device that allow player to repair structures, such as stairs. As expected in shooting games, various firearms can be used in the game, but there is also vehicles such as mince carts and barges. There is also a possibility to use mech suits in some later stages of the game.
