Overview

ChromaGun is a single player created by Pixel Maniacs for PC, Mac and Linux. The player uses the eponymous ChromaGun, a weapon capable of firing red, blue and yellow paint-pellets, to colorize walls and floating spherical droids. These WorkerDroids are drawn to walls of the same color. Using that mechanic, the player has to solve the test chambers by cleverly placing the droids on triggers to open doors, deadly electrified tiles or other elements.

Story

ChromaGun takes is set in an underground laboratory complex run by ChromaTec, a paint-manufacturer that luckily landed a military contract to develop a new paint-based weapon. The player presumably controls a homeless person offered $10 for participation in the testing of the ChromaGun. An omniscient snarky narrator accompanies the player throughout the testing track.
