As the title would suggest, Battlefield 1942 is set in World War 2. It is a classic first-person shooter with weaponry and vehicles from WW2. There are five playable classes: Scout, Assault, Anti-Tank, Medic, and Engineer. Depending on the map the two different factions fight each other. The game has co-op focus, favoring coordination and teamwork over individualism, which is usually favored in fps games.
