Gameplay

Polynomial 2 is a sequel to Like it's predecessor, it is a 3D space shooter with fractal nebulae that are animated to the music. Unlike it's predecessor it features an essentially infinite universe, made possible by the improvements to it's game engine.

The Early Access release includes 9 unique levels and two automatically generated survival modes, as well as 10 unique enemy types and 4 guns. More content is planned to be made available thorough the duration of the Early Access leading up to the final release.

Polynomial 2's built in music player supports various file formats including FLAC.

The game can also animate to the music that is being played on the computer by other applications, via the use of a "What you hear" option. That is, it can be configured to use music playing on Youtube, Soundcloud, and other DRM-free online streaming services.

Controller support:
Keyboard and mouse, Steam Controller, XBox Controller, HOTAS, generic joysticks.
