Overview

Darkout is a sandbox action-adventure game developed by for the PC. The player has crashed and is alone on the planet Illuna, a world forsaken by humankind. The player must craft a shelter and weapons and research new technologies in order to survive. Light sensitive creatures prowl the landscape and become more active at night, twilight provides the player with a chance to scavenge and explore for resources. The story is told through logs left behind by Illuna's residents, some even hearken back to natives of Illuna, giving glimpses into what events led to the current state of the world.
