Assassin’s Creed Liberation provides you with pocket watches to collect. Smugglers in New Orleans and the Bayou will have several to sell and even more pocket watches will unlock when you complete game missions. So what does collecting pocket watches do in Assassin’s Creed Liberation?
Not much to be honest. Collecting all of the pocket watches in Liberation will grant you the achievement One Watch is not Enough and it will also unlock Dueling Pistol that you will be able to buy at any shop.
Is it worth the money spent on all the watches? Well, it’s up to you. The amount of écu you have to pay for each pocket watch is quite big. Especially if you don’t engage much in managing your naval and sending them with goods (which is a good way to make money in Liberation). Basically you can do just fine without a single watch and unless you are after the achievement or the pistol (which is nothing special), there is no actual need to get those watches.
