Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is a 2D fighting game developed, published and released by for Japanese on September 20, 2012. It later received a major update on January 18, 2013, and was published digitally for the in Europe on February 14, 2013 (March 19, 2013 in Japan, April 23, 2013 in North America). It was released as a free downloadable update to owners of on in Japan on August 7, 2013 (March 3, 2014 in North America), and on worldwide on October 11, 2013. The game was ported to for a release on May 26, 2015.

The game is the fifth and final iteration of . It features balance changes to refine the existing characters, including new normals and special moves and changes to the properties of existing moves, as well as re-balancing the two bonus console characters and to be included in the arcade release and suitable for competitive play for the first time.
