Background

Cold Alley is a game for Windows platforms that resembles games from the Blazing Angels series. The game looks to be the first game in a series of releases by Microsoft which claim to be focusing more on the "core" games, while also touting "console-like quality".

Gameplay

Cold Alley has a story campaign that takes users "back in time to experience the unwritten history of covert operations." In addition to this campaign, the game features different single-player vs. AI game modes, with more to come in future updates. These modes are:

• Free-for-all
• Survival
• Defend the Base
• Capture the Flag
• Team Deathmatch
• Dogfight missions

Unfortunately, many users have reported the game to crash on multiple occasions (despited looking graphically impressive), the worst cases reportedly being on Windows tablets.
