Gameplay

In Castle Chaos up to four players take control of a castle located on a randomly generated map. In each round there is a repair/build phase in which players are given walls to place around their castle. A castle must be completely encased in walls in order for the player to move on. In the repair phase players have a set time limit in order to repair or expand their territory.

After the repair/build phase is a battle phase. During the battle phase players try to shoot their cannons at enemy walls in order to make it harder for them to repair.

There are gnomes that will walk around the maps placing bushes that will block players from building a wall on those spaces. Players can shoot the bushes during the battle phase in order to remove them.
