Abyss Odyssey is a game developed by , creators of and , released on July 15, 2014, on the , , and . It is a 2D that combines the environmental hazards and traversal of a platformer, the complex combat of a fighting game, and the world randomization of a .

Its story takes place in late Santiago, with the game's title referring to the player's journey deep into a swirling Art Nouveau world of Chilean mythology home to a mysterious source of evil. The player can play as any of three hero characters who can be customized and leveled up, as well as any of upwards of 30 enemies and bosses that can be captured over the course of the game.

The game also features optional 2-player for its story campaign, a versus mode for up to 4 players, and a . Additionally, the game includes online community features such as tallying how many times players worldwide have defeated the game's final boss, and at certain milestones, transforming the boss and unlocking new enemies and other game content to appear in all players' games.
