Dishonored 2, as well as the first game, don’t allow you to use cheat codes with a console. Developers just didn’t activate it. So the main option to exploit in-game features is trainers. These programs modify game’s memory and change different stats or parameters. Trainers allow you to become immortal and totally invisible, activate infinite ammo, health, and mana, increase speed etc. We will cover trainers in the 1 paragraph of this article.
But for lovers of secrets and fair strategies we have prepared 2 paragraph. There are a few glitches and game features with pretty useful effects. Some tips require from you using in-game traits while others are legal story episodes. All features of Dishonored 2 are listed below. Don’t forget that you cannot use regular cheats as in other games. It can be quite complicated to deal with procedures, but we will guide you.
Let’s start with trainers!
Trainers
Well, as it was listed above trainers are special programs which exploit features of each game. Normally you should download a small file, activate it and then open the game. But be careful now! Some trainers for Dishonored 2 have another principle of operation. So you have to enter the game at first and only after that activate the downloaded trainer.
Once you are done with all preparations it’s time to use advantages of your trainer. Each program contains also a text file with descriptions of every cheat and attached button. Basically, options can be activated with buttons on the Num pad. If there are more cheats you can press buttons on the F pad or combine them with Ctrl key. Modern trainers also include a special option which allows you to cancel all previous changes.
Each program has a mark + with a certain number in its title. For example, it could be +10 or +18. Numbers display a number of available options. There is even +1 trainer that only lets you turn on infinite ammo. Every trainer regardless of a number includes infinite health, mana, gold coins, runes and ammo. Also, many of them include an option of easy killing with one hit.
Trainers with more options, for example, +15 or +18, includes more options what is pretty logical. There could be infinite oxygen for diving, ultimate stealth mode in which nobody can detect you, increased speed and enhanced jumps. More exotic options let you fall from any height without damage, teleport to the desired location and slow down time.
Note that game websites contain a lot of trainers and you can download any. But some trainers with many options are paid. Let’s discover 3 the most common trainers:
- Program from Cheat Happens. It’s a premium trainer which has 14 cheats. It works fine with new versions of the game, but try other free variants before you are about to buy this trainer. In addition to listed above common options, it allows you to enable infinite whale bones, traits, and other items. With it, you also can enable god mode.
- Program from WeMod. This trainer is totally free, but you should register to acquire it. The program has only 10 features, but there is an option for easy kills with one hit. All essential features like infinite stats or potions are available as well. WeMod trainer also allows you to make use of smartphones and tablets.
- Program from Mr. Antifun. Author of this trainer is famous enough so you can trust him. This program is free and you don’t have to register to download it. 9 options for infinite stats are available and here is ultimate stealth mode as well. With such cheats, you can beat the game easily. Be sure to download the latest where several bugs are fixed.
Some trainers can alert antivirus systems, but don’t worry. Programs are safe for your computer so far as they only change memory and don’t modify game files.
Secrets and glitches
In this section, we want to start with a single glitch. It can make the game way easier as you will have an infinite amount of mana. At first, create a save file before 5 or 6 mission. It will be your backup for unexpected consequences such as strange visual bugs. Then start the mission and find Breanna in 5 mission or Paolo in 6 one. We suggest exploiting this feature with Paolo as it works better. Follow these steps to get infinite mana:
- Neutralize Paolo or Breanna and loot the body. You will find 3 bone charms, take 2 and leave the last one.
- Kill this NPC and loot the body once more. There will be the last bone charm and now you can grab it.
- At this moment, you will face glitch. This last bone charm will re-appear again and again. So you can use it several times and craft cool artifacts.
- Lastly, to get an infinite mana you should combine 5 Void Favor Charms.
Now let’s reveal some features of the game itself. These episodes are interesting and unusual what is a merit of developers:
- Easy riddle in 6 mission.
Jindosh Riddle is a very complicated and randomized puzzle which you have to solve to open the last door in this mission. Of course, there are a lot of ways to open it without solving this puzzle so far as it is very (very!) difficult. But with it, you can skip the almost entire mission and move further quickly. Also, solving this puzzle will award you with Eureka achievement.
To avoid difficult metal calculations follow our guide. Save at the start of this mission and find a note with a solution. It is a reward for completing the main quest and killing one of the key persons. You also will find this note in apartments of Durante. Now write down solution or take a screenshot of it. Load yours save file and simply solve the puzzle!
Note that solutions are different for every playthrough so you should find a note again in further games.
- Time travel on 7 mission.
In this mission, you will receive an ability to move between the past and the present. Some players don’t know that certain actions in the past affect the present. Thus, your decision about Aramis Stilton will influence his fate and further history of the manor. Here we have a spoiler-free area so specific actions and effects are hidden.
Anyway, you can face 3 different futures in a result. One of them is similar to your starting state where nothing has changed. Another future depicts the best state of the manor and entire district. In this future, you can find additional runes and bone charms. Finally, the last option leads to a darker version of normal future without additional collectibles.
- No damage after falls.
This hint will help all who are afraid of falling and suffering from it. A tip is suitable for both Corvo and Emily.
As Corvo, you should maximize Possession to have an opportunity to gain control of humans. At the moment of falling just cast Possession and choose any target you want. Top-level power allows you to possess a man, an animal or any other creature.
As Emily, you have another cool special power called Doppelganger. With it you can create your body double. Summon it at the moment of falling right under you and perform a drop assassination. So, it allows you to avoid damage.
