Demigod is a non-traditional MOBA(multiplayer online battle arena) video game. It is quite different from traditional MOBAs such as Dota or League of Legends in a way that in Demigod you have to control the area and support Demigod's minions. There are 2 distinct types of Demigods in the game: Assasins and Generals. Assasins focus on direct battle versus other Demigods. Generals are weaker in direct Demigod vs Demigod combat, but have supporting abilities that can strengthen friendly minions. There were 8 different Demigods at release, later 2 more were added. The game is not as fast paced as other MOBAs. More emphasis is also put on minions, which in other MOBA's usually are weaker and rarely can get buffed.
