Overview

Thunder Rally is a local multiplayer demolition derby for 2 to 8 players, developed by Typical Entertainment, currently slated to release on PC in 2018.

Gameplay

The goal of Thunder Rally is to knock all the other players off the stage. Drive around the arena drifting & smashing into each other while picking up power-ups that help push players off the stage or power-ups that help keep yourself on the stage. Players can exit the vehicle and attempt to punch other cars or players, or bail out of the car as a last ditch effort to stay on the stage. Running around on foot makes the player more vulnerable, meaning they can be instantly splattered by a high speed car or rocket. Each stage has their own unique environmental hazards such as an entire rotating platform or Hungry Hungry Hippos styled jaws that can swipe the player off the stage. Once the player dies, the player controls a launcher that hurls explosive barrels towards the other currently alive players. Whoever wins the most rounds, accrues the most last-hit kills, and stays alive the longest will be crowned the champion of the Thunder Rally.
