The gameplay

You (the player) are a tiny human that is running around. Your main and only weapon is a flying and returning arrow, named the “Soul arrow”. The one thing you hear about Titan Souls is that it highly reminds players of Zelda, while true to some extent, Titan Souls is very different and beautiful in its own right.

Your goal as a player is to defeat the Titans. There are 20 of them in the game and every one of them fight differently. You shoot your arrow at the boss and one hit (usually, if the boss doesn’t have a shield) kills the titan. Cool, right? Well yes, and no. Since you kill everything with one hit, you are killed with one hit also, making Titan Souls one of the most difficult games of the recent times. There are no different enemies and very few obstacle other than a few navigation struggles that everyone might encounter.

The boss fights aren’t linear. What I mean by that is: every boss is an independent enemy and you can fight them in any order or pattern. The Soul, however, is the final boss and has to be defeated last in order to see the credits.

Your arrow shoots in the direction you are facing and returns straight to you, so you can position yourself behind the boss to cause some serious damage.

Conclusion

Well that’s about it, when it comes to Titan Souls, a very simple and clear layout and summary of the game, but it’s unique and different bosses paint a completely different picture which makes every playthrough a very one-of-a-kind experience that you wouldn’t want to miss. For serious challenge seekers, you can try Hard-mode.
