The Lantern Puzzles are probably the trickiest part of Assassin’s Creed III underground. There isn’t much action going on in the underground (barely any, to be honest). You take down several guards once in a while, but mostly you just walk a lot with a lantern in your hand trying to get to know your way around and figuring out where on earth those fast travel locations could be. However, you do encounter puzzles every now and then. There are several lantern puzzles in both New York and Boston underground systems. You have to analyze clues to get them correctly. And if you feel stuck, feel free to check out the solutions in the video.

Here is the list of lantern puzzles and the correct answers to crack them (don’t read if you want to think some more and solve them by yourself):

Crown Coffee House. Up - Globe, Down - Scales, Left - Cross, Right - Wheel.

South Commons. Up - crown, Down - Mason Symbol, Left - feather, Right - The Vitruvian man.
